Nobu had always dreamed of opening a Japanese izakaya bar in the heart of Newcastle's CBD. In 2016 an opportunity arose and Nobu launched Kitami King Street.

Kitami King Street has a moody, late-night jazz feel that is infused with Japanese culture. Kimonos and samurai swords adorn the walls, with a full size Samurai Armor towering over the floors.
